Abbas Pazouki, the Deputy for Communications and Information at the office of Mohammad Reza Aref, the First Deputy of Masoud Pezeshkian, denied the statements attributed to Aref regarding the determination of an 87,000 Toman price in the government. This comes as Iranian media had previously published remarks from Aref about setting this rate.

According to Iranian media, Aref stated on Monday, August 26, during a gathering with reporters that after determining the fourth gasoline price through expert review and interaction with security institutions and other branches, the plan was supposed to be implemented on a trial basis in Kerman, but it was halted without coordination with the government. The fourth rate mentioned is 87,200 Tomans.

However, Pazouki referred to the published statements about Aref as "fabricated claims from some unofficial channels" and said: "The First Vice President has not made any statements or speculations regarding new gasoline prices."

He added: "The issue of fuel consumption management is still in the expert review stage, and no figure or decision has reached a final conclusion yet."

Fatemeh Mohajerani, the government spokesperson, announced on Friday, August 30, that the statements attributed to Mohammad Reza Aref, Pezeshkian's deputy, regarding the determination of an 80,000 Toman price for gasoline are not accurate.
Mohajerani stated that such a figure has neither been proposed by the First Vice President nor has it been the basis for the government's decision-making.
She emphasized that if the method of "fuel consumption management" is finalized, details will be communicated to the public through official and direct channels.

Masoud Pezeshkian, at the general assembly of the "Islamic Medical Society of Iran," said: "Aside from the financial constraints and the enemy's maritime blockade that have complicated our exports and imports, who said the government should buy gasoline at 130,000 Tomans and then sell it for 1,500 Tomans?"

عباس پازوکی، معاون ارتباطات و اطلاع‌رسانی دفتر محمدرضا عارف، معاون اول مسعود پزشکیان، اظهارات منتشرشده عارف درباره تعیین نرخ ۸۷ هزار تومانی در دولت را تکذیب کرد. این در حالی است که رسانه‌های ایران پیش‌تر اظهاراتی از عارف درباره تعیین این نرخ منتشر کرده بودند.

به گزارش رسانه‌های ایران، عارف دوشنبه ۲۶ مرداد در جمع خبرنگاران گفته بود پس از تعیین نرخ چهارم بنزین با بررسی کارشناسی و تعامل با نهادهای امنیتی و سایر قوا، قرار بود این طرح به‌صورت آزمایشی در کرمان اجرا شود، اما بدون هماهنگی با دولت متوقف شد. نرخ چهارم مورد اشاره ۸۷ هزار و ۲۰۰ تومان است.

با این حال، پازوکی در ایکس مطالب منتشرشده درباره اظهارات عارف را «ادعای ساختگی برخی کانال‌های غیررسمی» خواند و گفت: «معاون اول رییس‌جمهور هیچ‌گونه موضع‌گیری یا گمانه‌زنی عددی درباره نرخ‌های جدید بنزین نداشته‌اند.»

او افزود: «موضوع مدیریت مصرف سوخت در مرحله کارشناسی قرار دارد و هنوز هیچ رقم یا تصمیمی به جمع‌بندی نهایی نرسیده است.»

فاطمه مهاجرانی، سخنگوی دولت، روز جمعه ۳۰ مرداد ماه اعلام کرد مطالب منتشرشده به نقل از محمدرضا عارف، معاون پزشکیان درباره تعیین قیمت ۸۰ هزار تومانی برای بنزین صحت ندارد.
مهاجرانی گفت چنین عددی نه از سوی معاون اول رئیس‌جمهوری مطرح شده و نه مبنای تصمیم‌گیری دولت قرار گرفته است.
او تاکید کرد در صورت نهایی شدن نحوه «مدیریت مصرف سوخت»، جزئیات از مسیرهای رسمی و مستقیم به اطلاع مردم خواهد رسید.

مسعود پزشکیان، در مجمع عمومی «انجمن اسلامی جامعه پزشکی ایران»، گفت: «جدا از بحث محدودیت‌های مالی و محاصره دریایی دشمن که کار صادرات و واردات ما را با مشکل مواجه کرده است، چه کسی گفته دولت باید بنزین ۱۳۰ هزار تومانی بخرد و بعد آن را ۱۵۰۰ تومان بفروشد؟»
