"HRANA" reported on Friday, August 30, 2026, that the Supreme Court has upheld the death sentence of "Arghavan Fallahi," a 24-year-old political prisoner held in Evin Prison.

The death sentence for this young woman was issued in Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, presided over by "Abdolqasem Salavati," in July of this year.

Arghavan Fallahi, who was arrested by security forces in early Bahman 1403 and transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison, is accused of "rebellion."

HRANA, citing an informed source, reported that Arghavan Fallahi was held for some time in Wards 209 and 241 of Evin Prison and was pressured to give a forced confession regarding the deaths of "Mohammad Mogheiseh" and "Ali Razini," two judges of the Islamic Republic.

Fallahi had previously been arrested in Aban 1401 and sentenced to two years in prison on charges of "gathering and collusion" and "propaganda against the regime."

«هرانا» روز جمعه ۳۰مرداد۱۴۰۵ خبر داد که دیوان عالی کشور، حکم اعدام «ارغوان فلاحی»، زندانی سیاسی ۲۴ساله محبوس در زندان اوین، را تایید کرده است.

حکم اعدام برای این زن جوان در شعبه ۱۵دادگاه انقلاب تهران به ریاست «ابوالقاسم صلواتی» در تیرماه ال جاری صادر شد.

ارغوان فلاحی که اوایل بهمن۱۴۰۳ به دست نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و به بند ۲۰۹ زندان اوین منتقل شده به «بغی» متهم است.

هرانا به نقل از یک منبع مطلع نوشته است که ارغوان فلاحی مدتی در بندهای ۲۰۹ و ۲۴۱ زندان اوین نگهداری شد و برای گرفتن اعتراف اجباری از او درباره کشته شدن «محمد مقیسه» و «علی رازینی»، دو قاضی جمهوری اسلامی، تحت فشار قرار گرفت.

فلاحی پیش‌تر نیز در آبان ۱۴۰۱بازداشت و به اتهام‌های «اجتماع و تبانی» و «تبلیغ علیه نظام» به دو سال زندان محکوم شده بود.
