Reports and various videos on social media have emerged about the "closure" of several fuel stations in Tehran and the formation of long queues in front of gas stations.

Some domestic media outlets, including Khabar Online, Student News Agency, and Asr Iran, have also confirmed the closure of several gas stations in Tehran.

Meanwhile, Fereydoun Yasemi, the manager of the Tehran region at the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, confirmed the closure of several gas stations in Tehran, attributing it to "a sudden increase in demand and traffic on access routes," which "led to delays in shipments and the depletion of gasoline at a limited number of stations, resulting in their temporary closure."

According to him, gasoline distribution in Tehran has seen a "30 percent" increase in recent days. Yasemi claimed that "fuel supply to Tehran is being carried out sustainably."

On Tuesday, September 3, the French news agency also reported from Tehran about the formation of long queues in front of gas stations.

گزارش‌ها و ویدئوهای مختلفی در شبکه‌های اجتماعی از «تعطیلی» تعدادی از جایگاه‌های عرضه سوخت در تهران و تشکیل صف‌های طولانی در مقابل پمپ بنزین‌ها منتشر شده است.

برخی رسانه‌های داخلی از جمله خبرآنلاین، خبرگزاری دانشجو و عصر ایران نیز تعطیلی چند پمپ بنزین در تهران را تأیید کرده‌اند.

در همین حال فریدون یاسمی، مدیر منطقه تهران شرکت ملی پخش فرآورده‌های نفتی با تأیید تعطیلی چند پمپ بنزین در تهران، «افزایش ناگهانی تقاضا و ترافیک مسیرهای مواصلاتی» را «منجر به تأخیر در ارسال محمولات و اتمام بنزین در تعداد محدودی جایگاه و بسته شدن چند ساعته آنها» عنوان کرد.

به گفته او، در روزهای اخیر توزیع بنزین در تهران «۳۰ درصد» افزایش داشت. یاسمی مدعی شد «تأمین سوخت تهران به‌صورت پایدار در حال انجام است.»

خبرگزاری فرانسه نیز روز سه‌شنبه، سوم شهریور در گزارشی از تهران، از تشکیل صف‌های طولانی مقابل پمپ‌بنزین‌ها خبر داد.
