Leila Abolhasani, one of the detainees from the protests of January 2024, has been sentenced to death on charges of "moharebeh" (waging war against God), and her case is currently under review by the Supreme Court following an appeal against the verdict.

Leila Abolhasani, approximately 43 years old and a mother of two teenagers, has been held in the Dowlatabad prison in Isfahan since January 18, 2024.

A source has stated that Abolhasani was arrested on January 18 in Shahinshahr while taking photos of a fire at one of the "Ofogh Kourosh" stores.

According to this source, the judiciary has accused her of being involved in setting fire to this store; an accusation that has led to the issuance of a death sentence against her.

Currently, the Supreme Court is reviewing her appeal against the death sentence.

لیلا ابوالحسنی، از بازداشت‌شدگان اعتراضات دی۱۴۰۴، به اتهام «محاربه» به اعدام محکوم شده و پرونده او پس از اعتراض به حکم، اکنون در دیوان عالی کشور در حال بررسی است.

لیلا ابوالحسنی، حدودا ۴۳ ساله و مادر دو نوجوان، از ۱۸دی۱۴۰۴ در زندان دولت‌آباد اصفهان نگهداری می‌شود.

یک منبع گفته است که ابوالحسنی روز ۱۸دی در شاهین‌شهر و هنگامی بازداشت شد که در حال عکس گرفتن از آتش‌سوزی یکی از فروشگاه‌های «افق کوروش» بود.

به گفته این منبع، دستگاه قضایی او را به دست داشتن در آتش‌زدن این فروشگاه متهم کرده است؛ اتهامی که به صدور حکم اعدام علیه او منجر شده است.

در حال حاضر، دیوان عالی درباره اعتراض او به حکم اعدام در حال بررسی پرونده است.
لیلا ابوالحسنی از زمان بازداشت تاکنون، بیش از هفت ماه را در زندان دولت‌آباد اصفهان سپری کرده است.
