The Treasury Department had promised to cut off every remaining economic artery for Tehran and ultimately put an end to the regime's threats. We also warned that Iran's supporters cannot continue to have access to U.S. dollars and the global financial system.

Emirates Egypt Bank decided to understand this matter the hard way, and today we are taking the first step to hold it accountable for its ongoing and blatant support of the Iranian regime.

U.S. Treasury:
Today, as part of "Operation Economic Outcast," the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) proposed a rule that revokes Emirates Egypt Bank's access to the banking services of U.S. financial institutions.

Additionally, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the Treasury Department sanctioned Reza Mohammad Taeyidi, the director of Dubai's National Bank, along with a shell company based in Hong Kong that assisted in laundering funds for a sanctioned Iranian exchange.

"Operation Economic Outcast" is cutting off the last financial arteries that keep the Iranian regime afloat.

وزیر خزانه‌داری آمریکا:
وزارت خزانه‌داری وعده داده بود که هر شریان اقتصادیِ باقی‌مانده برای تهران را قطع کند و سرانجام به تهدید رژیم ایران پایان دهد.
همچنین هشدار دادیم که حامیان ایران نمی‌توانند همچنان از دسترسی به دلار آمریکا و نظام مالی جهانی برخوردار باشند.

بانک مصر امارات تصمیم گرفت این موضوع را به شیوه سخت بفهمد، و امروز نخستین گام را برای پاسخگو کردن آن به‌دلیل حمایت مستمر و فاحشش از رژیم ایران برمی‌داریم.

امروز، در چارچوب «عملیات طرد اقتصادی» (Operation Economic Outcast)، شبکه اجرای جرایم مالی (FinCEN) قاعده‌ای را پیشنهاد کرد که دسترسی بانک مصر امارات به خدمات بانکداری کارگزاریِ مؤسسات مالی آمریکا را لغو می‌کند.

علاوه بر این، دفتر کنترل دارایی‌های خارجی وزارت خزانه‌داری (OFAC)، رضا محمد تأییدی، مدیر بانک ملی دبی، را به همراه یک شرکت پوششی مستقر در هنگ‌کنگ که به پول‌شویی وجوه برای یک صرافی تحریم‌شده ایرانی کمک کرده است، تحریم کرد.

«عملیات طرد اقتصادی» در حال قطع کردن آخرین شریان‌های مالی‌ای است که رژیم ایران را سرپا نگه می‌دارند.
