The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates issued a statement on Monday morning, September 9, denying media reports about the targeting of Al Minhad Air Base with a "missile." The Islamic Republic of Iran's army had reported hours before the attack that a "drone" strike was carried out on this U.S. base in Emirati territory.

The statement from the UAE Ministry of Defense reads: "The armed forces remain in a high state of readiness to respond to any potential threats, in a manner that preserves the sovereignty, security, and stability of the United Arab Emirates."

The army's public relations released a video of drone launches, stating that in response to the killing of a number of IRGC forces and civilians during the U.S. midnight attack on Lark Island, "the locations of helicopters and forces" at the Al Minhad base in the UAE were targeted with the launch of dozens of destructive drones.

وزارت دفاع امارات متحده عربی پیش از ظهر دوشنبه ۹ شهریورماه با صدور بیانیه‌ای گزارش‌ رسانه‌ها مبنی بر هدف قرار گرفتن پایگاه هوایی المنهاد با «موشک» را تکذیب کرد.
ارتش جمهوری اسلامی ایران ساعاتی پیش از حمله «پهپادی» به این پایگاه آمریکا در خاک امارات خبر داده بود.
در بیانیه وزارت دفاع امارات آمده است: «نیروهای مسلح همچنان در آمادگی بالایی برای پاسخ به هرگونه تهدید احتمالی هستند، به گونه‌ای که حاکمیت، امنیت و ثبات امارات متحده عربی را حفظ کند.»
