Ejei threatened protesters with harsher measures

Following the intensification of the economic crisis and the U.S. dollar reaching the threshold of 210,000 tomans, the head of the judiciary of the Islamic Republic stated that this institution is "more determined than ever" to punish "elements that seek to undermine the security of the country." This threat came after government agencies predicted the emergence of public protests.

Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei added that strengthening security and decisively confronting anti-security elements are issues on which both the people and officials agree. This approach has been intensified by a written message from Mojtaba Khamenei during the government week. Khamenei stated in this message: "I firmly declare that any act detrimental to social cohesion is prohibited."

The Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, published a report criticizing the presence of "a number of female students without mandatory hijab" at a meeting with the head of the Student Affairs Organization and the advisor to the Minister of Science, calling for a "decisive and immediate response" from the Ministry of Science and security and judicial bodies.

According to Fars, the publication of images from a meeting attended by the head of the Student Affairs Organization, the advisor to the Minister of Science, and several members of university guild councils, where a number of female students were present without mandatory hijab, has faced "protests from a group of professors and students."

اژه‌ای معترضان را به برخورد قاطع‌تر تهدید کرد

در پی تشدید بحران اقتصادی و رسیدن دلار آمریکا به مرز ۲۱۰ هزار تومان، رئیس قوه قضائیه جمهوری اسلامی گفت این نهاد برای مجازات «عناصری که بخواهند امنیت کشور را مخدوش کنند، قاطع‌تر از همیشه است».
این تهدید پس از آن صورت گرفته است که دستگاه‌های حکومتی بروز اعتراضات مردمی را پیش‌بینی کردند.

غلامحسین محسنی اژه‌ای افزود تحکیم امنیت و مقابله قاطع با عناصر ضدامنیتی از مقولاتی است که مردم و مسئولان درباره آن اتفاق‌نظر دارند.
این رویکرد با پیام مکتوب مجتبی خامنه‌ای در هفته دولت تشدید شده است.
خامنه‌ای در این پیام اعلام کرد: «قاطعانه اعلام می‌کنم که ارتکاب هر آنچه به ضرر انسجام اجتماعی باشد، ممنوع است.»

به نوشته فارس، انتشار تصاویر جلسه‌ای با حضور رییس سازمان امور دانشجویان، مشاور وزیر علوم و شماری از اعضای شوراهای صنفی دانشگاه‌ها که در آن تعدادی از دانشجویان زن بدون حجاب اجباری حضور داشتند، «با اعتراض گروهی از استادان و دانشجویان» مواجه شده است.
