The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic claimed in a statement on Tuesday that the United States is using the airspace or territory of some Middle Eastern countries to target Iran and warned that they will be targeted.

This statement was released hours after Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced that the U.S. military would severely retaliate against Iran for its attack on American forces in Jordan the previous night.

In its statement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran said, "While respecting the national sovereignty of neighbors," if U.S. attacks continue, the military forces of the Islamic Republic will deliver a "heavier response" than the attacks of the previous night.

The U.S. military announced that on Sunday evening, it targeted "mining forces of the IRGC" on Lark Island. Following this attack, the Revolutionary Guard reported a missile strike on two military bases in Jordan.

ستادکل نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی روز دوشنبه در بیانیه‌ای مدعی شد که ایالات متحده از آسمان یا خاک برخی کشورهای خاورمیانه برای استفاده از ایران استفاده می‌کند و هشدار داد آنها را هدف قرار خواهد داد.

این بیانیه ساعاتی بعد از آن منتشر شد که دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، اعلام کرد ارتش این کشور به حمله شب گذشته ایران به نیروهای آمریکایی در اردن، ایران را به شدت هدف حملات انتقام‌جویانه قرار خواهد داد.

ستادکل نیروهای مسلح ایران در بیانیه خود گفته است «ضمن احترام به حاکمیت ملی همسایگان»، در صورت ادامه حملات آمریکا، نیروهای نظامی جمهوری اسلامی «پاسخی سنگین‌تر» از حملات شب گذشته خواهد داد.

ارتش آمریکا اعلام کرد شامگاه یکشنبه «نیروهای مین‌گذار سپاه» در جزیره لارک را هدف قرار داده است. در پی این حمله، سپاه پاسداران از حمله موشکی به دو پایگاه نظامی در اردن خبر داد.
