Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated in a video message on Tuesday that a maritime blockade is considered a military action under international law, emphasizing that if the blockade is intensified, we will definitely respond militarily, and everyone will suffer.

Qalibaf said, "If the enemy intends for us not to export oil from the Persian Gulf, no one will be able to export oil." He added, "The U.S. wants to pass through the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz against the agreement, which we will not allow."

The Speaker further noted, "The enemy is currently focusing on the psychological aspect of the economic war." Qalibaf mentioned that after "failure in the military and diplomatic arenas," the enemy turned to economic and cognitive warfare and added it to their military conflict. He added, "The enemy's goal in this hybrid war is to initiate chaos within the country, accompanied by terrorism and short military attacks."

محمدباقر قالیباف، رییس مجلس شورای اسلامی، سه‌شنبه در پیامی ویدیویی با تاکید بر اینکه محاصره دریایی در قوانین بین‌المللی، یک اقدام نظامی محسوب می‌شود، گفت که اگر محاصره را تشدید کنند، حتما پاسخ نظامی می‌دهیم و همه ضرر خواهند کرد.

قالیباف گفت: «اگر دشمن اراده‌اش بر این باشد که ما از خلیج فارس نفت صادر نکنیم، هیچ‌کس نخواهد توانست نفت صادر کند.»
او گفت: «آمریکا می‌خواهد برخلاف تفاهم‌نامه از مسیر جنوبی تنگه هرمز عبور کند که این اجازه را نخواهیم داد.»

رییس مجلس افزود: «دشمن در حال حاضر در جنگ اقتصادی، بر روی جنبه روانی آن متمرکز شده است.»
قالیباف گفت که دشمن پس از «شکست در عرصه نظامی و دیپلماسی» سراغ جنگ اقتصادی و شناختی رفت و آن را به جنگ نظامی خود اضافه کرد.
قالیباف افزود: «هدف دشمن از جنگ ترکیبی این است که در داخل کشور، اغتشاش را به همراه ترور و حملات نظامی کوتاه آغاز کند.»
