On Tuesday, September 10, following the start of a new round of U.S. military attacks on military positions in Iran, Axios reported that this action confirmed its report regarding the U.S. plan for ongoing and periodic attacks on positions in cities along the Strait of Hormuz.
The Axios news outlet, citing U.S. officials, reported that Donald Trump and senior officials in his administration are considering plans for limited attacks in the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding areas. The main objective of these attacks is stated to be preventing the reconstruction of Iran's radar systems, air defense, and missile capabilities.
According to Axios, this plan, developed by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and supported by Defense Secretary Mark Esper, aims to curb Iran's recent efforts to threaten vessels and oil tankers.

روز سهشنبه ۱۰ شهریور، در پی شروع دور جدید حملات ارتش آمریکا به مواضع نظامی در ایران، خبرگزاری آکسیوس این اقدام را صحهای بر گزارش خود مبنی بر طرح آمریکا برای حملات مداوم و دورهای به مواضعی در شهرهای حاشیه تنگه هرمز دانست.
پایگاه خبری آکسیوس به نقل از مقامات آمریکایی گزارش داد که دونالد ترامپ و مقامات ارشد دولت او در حال بررسی طرحهایی برای انجام حملات محدود در تنگه هرمز و مناطق اطراف آن هستند. هدف اصلی این حملات، جلوگیری از بازسازی سامانههای راداری، پدافند هوایی و توانمندیهای موشکی ایران اعلام شده است.
به گفته آکسیوس این طرح که توسط فرماندهی مرکزی آمریکا (سنتکام) تدوین شده و مورد حمایت پیت هگست، وزیر جنگ قرار گرفته، به دنبال مهار تلاشهای تازه ایران برای تهدید شناورها و نفتکشهاست.
