Update: 'In the attack on Sirik, 4 citizens were killed and 65 injured'

Iran has stated that in the U.S. airstrikes on the port of Kouhestak in Sirik County, four people, including a woman and a child attending a wedding ceremony, were killed and 65 were injured.

The head of Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences said two people were killed on the spot and two others died in the hospital, adding that "six of the injured are hospitalized in the intensive care unit and 26 others are receiving treatment in surgical wards."

In this regard, a local source told BBC Persian that he believes the target of the airstrike was "a telecommunications tower" located "a few meters from the house where the wedding was held and across the street."

In messages I received, it was also mentioned that the target of the attack was a telecommunications tower and in that attack, citizens in nearby houses, including at a wedding, were killed or injured.

ایران گفته است در حملات هوایی آمریکا به بندر کوهستک شهرستان سیریک، چهار نفر از جمله یک زن و یک کودک که در مراسم عروسی شرکت داشتند کشته و ۶۵ نفر مجروح شدند.

رئیس دانشگاه علوم پزشکی هرمزگان گفت دو نفر در محل کشته شدند و دو نفر در بیمارستان جان باختند و «شش نفر از مجروحان در بخش مراقبت‌های ویژه بستری‌ شده‌اند و ۲۶ نفر هم در بخش‌های جراحی تحت درمان قرار دارند.»

در همین رابطه یک منبع محلی به بی‌بی‌سی فارسی گفت به گمان او هدف حمله هوایی «یک دکل مخابراتی» که در فاصله «چند متری خانه محل برگزاری عروسی و آن طرف خیابان» قرار داشته بوده است.

در پیام‌هایی که من دریافت کرده بودم هم نوشته بودند هدف حمله یک دکل مخابراتی بوده و در اون حمله شهروندانی در خانه‌های اطراف، از جمله در یک عروسی، کشته یا زخمی شدند.
