Israel Katz, the Israeli Defense Minister, announced during the Rosh Hashanah ceremony with Defense Ministry staff on Thursday, September 12, that an attack by the Islamic Republic on this country would free Israel from all limitations, and that it would even target energy infrastructure.

The Defense Minister stated: "We will target all national infrastructure, military and civilian, including energy infrastructure, and we will return Iran to the depths of the Stone Age and darkness."

Katz also added: "Economic pressure and concerns about uprising and the fall of the regime may drive the Islamic Republic to desperate actions."

He said: "The Ayatollah regime in Iran knows very well why, after we dealt them two heavy blows, destroyed their nuclear program, killed Khamenei, and severely damaged their strategic capabilities, they do not attack Israel."

یسرائیل کاتز، وزیر دفاع اسرائیل، پنج‌شنبه ۱۲ شهریور در مراسم روش هشانا با کارکنان وزارت دفاع اعلام کرد حمله جمهوری اسلامی به این کشور، اسرائیل را از همه محدودیت‌ها رها خواهد کرد و این کشور حتی زیرساخت‌های انرژی را نیز هدف قرار خواهد داد.

وزیر دفاع اسرائیل گفت: تمام زیرساخت‌های ملی، نظامی و غیرنظامی، از جمله زیرساخت‌های انرژی را هدف قرار خواهیم داد و ایران را به اعماق عصر حجر و تاریکی بازخواهیم گرداند.

کاتز همچنین افزود: فشار اقتصادی و نگرانی از قیام و سقوط حکومت ممکن است جمهوری اسلامی را به اقدامات از سر استیصال سوق دهد.

او گفت: حکومت آیت‌الله‌ها در ایران به‌خوبی می‌داند چرا پس از آنکه دو بار ضربات سختی به آنها وارد کردیم، برنامه هسته‌ای را نابود کردیم، خامنه‌ای را کشتیم و به توانایی‌های راهبردی آنها آسیب شدیدی زدیم، به اسرائیل حمله نمی‌کند.
