The price of diesel in the United States has reached a new record of over five and a half dollars per gallon.
The American Automobile Association announced on Friday, September 4, that the price of diesel in the country has currently reached five dollars and 85 cents per gallon, while a year ago it was three dollars and 71 cents.
One gallon is approximately 3.8 liters.
The association attributed this price increase to disruptions in fuel transportation due to the U.S. war with Iran.
Diesel is considered a vital fuel used in road transportation, agriculture, and construction, and there are concerns that its significant price increase may raise the inflation rate.
The price of regular gasoline in the U.S. is also four dollars and 15 cents per gallon.

قیمت گازوئیل در آمریکا با ثبت رکورد تازهای به بیش از پنج و نیم دلار در هر گالن رسید.
انجمن اتوموبیل آمریکا روز جمعه ۱۳ شهریور اعلام کرد که قیمت گازوئیل در این کشور در حال حاضر به پنج دلار و ۸۵ سنت به ازای هر گالن رسیده، در حالی که یک سال پیش قیمت آن سه دلار و ۷۱ سنت بود.
هر گالن حدود ۳.۸ لیتر است.
انجمن یادشده این افزایش قیمت را ناشی از اختلالات در حملونقل سوخت بهدلیل جنگ آمریکا با ایران عنوان کرده است.
گازوئیل، سوخت حیاتی مورد استفاده در حملونقل جادهای، کشاورزی و ساختوساز محسوب میشود و بیم آن میرود که افزایش چشمگیر قیمت آن، نرخ تورم را افزایش دهد.
قیمت بنزین معمولی در آمریکا نیز چهار دلار و ۱۵ سنت به ازای هر گالن است.
