According to a report by Tasnim News Agency, the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced in a statement on Saturday that it targeted three oil tankers that were passing through "unauthorized routes in the Strait of Hormuz," as well as three other American vessels in different areas.

In this statement, the Navy of the IRGC referred to the targeting of three Iranian oil tankers by American forces earlier today, stating that these attacks caused damages.

Ali Mohammadi, the political deputy of the IRGC Navy, said in an interview with Fars News Agency on Saturday, "In the 10 days leading up to the 29th of August, the IRGC Navy has punished and penalized between 2 to 5 violating vessels every night, and has also engaged with violating ships whenever it deemed necessary."
He stated, "The attacks by the U.S. have not caused the slightest disruption in the oversight and imposition of the IRGC Navy's will in this region."

به گزارش خبرگزاری تسنیم نیروی دریایی سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی روز شنبه در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد که سه نفتکش را که از «مسیرهای غیرمجاز در تنگه هرمز عبور می‌کردند، و همچنین سه شناور دیگر آمریکایی را در مناطق دیگر هدف قرار داده است.»

نیروی دریایی سپاه در این بیانیه به هدف قرار گرفتن سه نفتکش ایرانی توسط نیروهای آمریکایی در صبح امروز اشاره کرده و گفته است که این حملات خساراتی به‌بار آورده است.

علی محمدی، معاون سیاسی نیروی دریایی سپاه، روز شنبه در گفتگو با خبرگزاری فارس، گفت: «در ۱۰ روز منتهی به هشتم شهریور، نیروی دریایی سپاه هر شب بین ۲ تا ۵ شناور متخلف را تنبیه و مجازات کرده و پس از آن نیز هرگاه اراده کرده با کشتی‌های متخلف برخورد کرده است.»
او گفت:‌ «حملات آمریکا کوچک‌ترین خللی در اشراف و تحمیل اراده نیروی دریایی سپاه بر این منطقه ایجاد نکرده است.»
