The price of the dollar in Iran's free market, after surpassing 230,000 tomans, has returned to the 226,000 tomans channel.
According to a report by Eghtesad24, the dollar rate this morning, Sunday, was 226,105 tomans. Gold and currency information websites had previously reported a spike in the dollar price above 230,000 tomans for a brief period.
The dollar price subsequently retreated with a relatively sharp decline. Eghtesad News attributed this drop to the Central Bank's intervention in the market, stating that the bank is seeking to absorb liquidity in the market.
The dollar exchange rate at the Iranian currency and gold exchange center was also announced as 160,983 tomans, creating a gap of over 65,000 tomans with the free market.
Even accounting for today's correction, the current figure is nearly 10% higher than the beginning of last week.

قیمت دلار در بازار آزاد ایران پس از عبور از مرز ۲۳۰ هزار تومان، به کانال ۲۲۶ هزار تومان بازگشت.
بر پایه گزارش اقتصاد۲۴، نرخ دلار صبح امروز یکشنبه ۲۲۶ هزار و ۱۰۵ تومان بود. وبسایتهای اطلاعرسانی طلا و ارز پیشتر برای ساعتی از جهش قیمت دلار به بالای ۲۳۰ هزار تومان خبر داده بودند.
بهای دلار در ادامه با شیب نسبتاً تند عقب نشست. اقتصادنیوز این افت را به ورود بانک مرکزی به بازار نسبت داد و نوشت این بانک به دنبال جذب نقدینگی در بازار است.
حواله دلار در مرکز مبادله ارز و طلای ایران نیز ۱۶۰ هزار و ۹۸۳ تومان اعلام شد که شکافی بیش از ۶۵ هزار تومان با بازار آزاد ایجاد میکند.
حتی با احتساب اصلاح امروز، رقم کنونی نزدیک به ۱۰ درصد بالاتر از آغاز هفته گذشته است.
