The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced in a video that the oil tanker Riesco sank in the Gulf of Oman on Tuesday after being destroyed by CENTCOM forces in response to attempts by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to attack a U.S. Navy warship.
