The price of foreign currencies in Iran's free market set a new record on Wednesday, September 18, 1405, with the rate of the US dollar surpassing 232,000 tomans.
Some websites reporting currency prices indicated that the dollar was traded at 235,500 tomans during midday transactions on Wednesday.
At the same time, the price of the euro exceeded 271,000 tomans, and the British pound surpassed 315,000 tomans. These increases continue while the rial has lost more than 15% of its value against the dollar over the past two weeks.

قیمت ارزهای خارجی در بازار آزاد ایران روز چهارشنبه ۱۸ شهریور ۱۴۰۵ رکورد تازهای ثبت کرد و نرخ دلار آمریکا از ۲۳۲ هزار تومان گذشت.
برخی وبسایتهای اعلام قیمت ارز نرخ دلار را در معاملات ظهر چهارشنبه تا ۲۳۵ هزار و ۵۰۰ تومان نیز گزارش کردند.
همزمان قیمت یورو از ۲۷۱ هزار تومان و پوند بریتانیا از ۳۱۵ هزار تومان فراتر رفت. این افزایشها در حالی ادامه دارد که ریال طی دو هفته گذشته بیش از ۱۵ درصد ارزش خود را در برابر دلار از دست داده است.
