Hang Kao, the head of the U.S. Navy, told the Epoch Times that the forces of the Islamic Republic have inflicted extensive damage on the U.S. Navy support base in Bahrain, the home of the Fifth Fleet.

Kao explained that the recent deployment of the USS Abraham Lincoln and the logistical requirements for long-term operations have been affected by the damage to the Bahrain base, impacting the ability to support this ship.

He said, "The crew of this ship had nowhere to dock."

هانگ کائو، سرپرست وزارت نیروی دریایی آمریکا، به اپک تایمز گفت نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی خسارت گسترده‌ای به پایگاه پشتیبانی نیروی دریایی آمریکا در بحرین، محل استقرار ناوگان پنجم این کشور، وارد کرده‌اند.

کائو در توضیح استقرار اخیر ناو هواپیمابر یواس‌اس آبراهام لینکلن و الزامات لجستیکی عملیات طولانی‌مدت گفت خسارت واردشده به پایگاه بحرین بر امکان پشتیبانی از این ناو تاثیر گذاشته است.

او گفت: «خدمه این ناو جایی برای پهلو گرفتن نداشتند.»
