The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, Monday, September 23, 1405, denied reports about Chinese institutions assisting the Islamic Republic in targeting a U.S. military base in Jordan.

Reuters reported, citing the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that Beijing "firmly opposes these baseless accusations."

This reaction came after the Wall Street Journal reported, citing unnamed American officials, that the Islamic Republic had received satellite images of the "Muwaffaq Salti" base in Jordan from institutions in China prior to the missile attack on September 17. In the missile attack by the Islamic Republic on this U.S. military base, three American soldiers were killed.

According to the Wall Street Journal, American officials did not disclose the names of the Chinese institutions that allegedly provided the satellite images to the Islamic Republic. These officials also did not accuse the Chinese government of participating in or directly intervening in this action.

U.S. President Donald Trump also reacted on Sunday, September 22, 1405, to reports regarding the Islamic Republic's access to satellite images of a U.S. military base in Jordan through Chinese institutions. Trump deemed the report regarding the Islamic Republic's access to these images, prior to the attack that resulted in the deaths of three American soldiers, as "insignificant."

وزارت امور خارجه چین امروز دوشنبه ۲۳شهریور۱۴۰۵ گزارش‌ها درباره کمک نهادهای چینی به جمهوری اسلامی برای هدف قرار دادن یک پایگاه نظامی آمریکا در اردن را تکذیب کرد.

خبرگزاری رویترز به نقل از وزارت امور خارجه چین گزارش داد پکن «قاطعانه با این اتهامات بی‌اساس مخالف است».

این واکنش پس از آن مطرح شد که روزنامه «وال‌استریت جورنال» به نقل از مقام‌های آمریکایی که نام‌شان فاش نشده است، گزارش داد جمهوری اسلامی پیش از حمله موشکی ۱۷شهریور به پایگاه «موفق‌السلطی» در اردن، تصاویر ماهواره‌ای این پایگاه را از نهادهایی در چین دریافت کرده بود.
در حمله موشکی جمهوری اسلامی به این پایگاه نظامی آمریکا، سه نظامی آمریکایی کشته شدند.

براساس گزارش «وال‌استریت ژورنال»، مقام‌های آمریکایی نام نهادهای چینی را که گفته می‌شود تصاویر ماهواره‌ای پایگاه را در اختیار جمهوری اسلامی قرار داده‌اند، اعلام نکرده‌اند. این مقام‌ها همچنین دولت چین را به مشارکت یا دخالت مستقیم در این اقدام متهم نکرده‌اند.

ترامپ گزارش مربوط به دستیابی جمهوری اسلامی به این تصاویر، پیش از حمله‌ای را که به کشته شدن سه نظامی آمریکایی منجر شد، «کم‌اهمیت» دانست.
