CBS News reported that new images obtained exclusively show, for the first time, the extent of damage from missile and drone attacks by the Islamic Republic on several U.S. military positions in the Middle East.

These images were provided to CBS News by American military personnel. One of them stated that the extensive damage to U.S. bases has not been communicated to the public.

In an image from Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, a four-engine Boeing E-3 Sentry is seen with a missile striking its rear section, causing the tail of the aircraft to separate from the fuselage.

Other images from this base show buildings and barracks with their interiors destroyed.

CBS News also reported similar damage recorded at Camp Buehring in Kuwait, a base that houses and prepares ground forces, armored vehicles, and several aircraft of the U.S. Army.

The Pentagon did not respond to CBS News' request for comment on this report.

سی‌بی‌اس‌نیوز گزارش داد تصاویر جدیدی که به‌طور اختصاصی به دست آورده، برای نخستین بار گستردگی خسارت حملات موشکی و پهپادی جمهوری اسلامی به چند موضع نظامی آمریکا در خاورمیانه را نشان می‌دهد.

این تصاویر را نظامیان آمریکایی در اختیار سی‌بی‌اس‌نیوز قرار داده‌اند. یکی از آنها گفت خسارت گسترده به پایگاه‌های آمریکا به اطلاع مردم این کشور نرسیده است.

در تصویری از پایگاه هوایی شاهزاده سلطان در عربستان سعودی، یک هواپیمای چهارموتوره بویینگ ای-۳ سنتری دیده می‌شود که موشک به بخش عقبی آن اصابت کرده و دم هواپیما از بدنه سوخته جدا شده است.

تصاویر دیگری از این پایگاه، ساختمان‌ها و آسایشگاه‌هایی را نشان می‌دهند که بخش‌های داخلی آنها تخریب شده است.

سی‌بی‌اس‌نیوز همچنین از ثبت خسارت‌های مشابه در کمپ بوهرینگ در کویت خبر داد؛ پایگاهی که محل استقرار و آماده‌سازی نیروهای زمینی، خودروهای زرهی و شماری از هواپیماهای ارتش آمریکاست.

پنتاگون به درخواست سی‌بی‌اس‌نیوز برای اظهارنظر درباره این گزارش پاسخ نداد.
