Following the call from the coalition of political forces in Iranian Kurdistan, coinciding with the fourth anniversary of the government-sanctioned murder of Mahsa Jina Amini and the beginning of the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement, shopkeepers and merchants in several Kurdish cities went on strike and kept their shops closed.

From morning until noon on Wednesday, September 25, the strike and closure of shops and markets were reported in at least 20 cities, including Urmia, Oshnavieh, Baneh, Boukan, Bijar, Paveh, Piranshahr, Thalath Babajani, Javanrud, Divandareh, Ravansar, Saqqez, Sanandaj, Qorveh, Kamyaran, Kermanshah, Kord, Marivan, Mahabad, and Miandoab.

Various websites and news sources that publish news from Kurdistan, including Hana, Kurdpa, Kolbernews, Zagros 24, and the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, have also reported and published images of shop closures in different Kurdish cities.
Meanwhile, various images and reports have emerged regarding the establishment of a heavy security atmosphere and the deployment of military and law enforcement forces with heavy weapons in various Kurdish cities.

در پی فراخوان ائتلاف نیروهای سیاسی کردستان ایران، همزمان با چهارمین سالگرد قتل حکومتی مهسا ژینا امینی و آغاز جنبش «زن، زندگی، آزادی»، کسبه و بازاریان شماری از شهرهای کردنشین اعتصاب کردند و مغازه‌های خود را بسته نگه داشتند.

از صبح تا ظهر چهارشنبه ۲۵ شهریور، اعتصاب و بسته بودن مغازه‌ها و بازار در دست‌کم ۲۰ شهر، از جمله ارومیه، اشنویه، بانه، بوکان، بیجار، پاوه، پیرانشهر، ثلاث باباجانی، جوانرود، دیواندره، روانسر، سقز، سنندج، قروه، کامیاران، کرمانشاه، کرند، مریوان، مهاباد و میاندوآب گزارش شده است.

وب‌سایت‌ها و منابع خبری مختلف که اخبار کردستان را منتشر می‌کنند، از جمله هانا، کردپا، کولبرنیوز، زاگرس ۲۴ و شبکه حقوق بشر کردستان نیز گزارش‌ها و تصاویری از تعطیلی مغازه‌ها در شهرهای مختلف کردنشین منتشر کردند.
در همین حال تصاویر و گزارش‌های مختلفی از برقراری فضای امنیتی شدید و استقرار نیروهای نظامی و انتظامی با سلاح‌های سنگین در شهرهای مختلف کردنشین منتشر شده است.
