The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement announcing that Wang Yi, the country's Foreign Minister, said during a meeting with Abbas Araghchi in Beijing on Wednesday:

China encourages Iran and the United States to maintain their rationality, show restraint, return to the Islamabad memorandum, and "engage in substantive discussions on issues of mutual interest."

According to the report, Wang stated that China "does not want to see further regional tensions spill over into Yemen and the Red Sea," adding: "We urge all parties to take effective measures to reopen the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible." Wang also mentioned that China's policy towards Iran has always been consistent and stable, and China is willing to strengthen its communications and coordination with Tehran.

Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, met with Wang Yi, the Chinese Foreign Minister, on Wednesday, September 16, during his visit to Beijing, emphasizing the expansion of relations between Tehran and Beijing within the framework of a comprehensive strategic partnership.

Araghchi attributed the current regional situation to the military attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran and expressed gratitude for China's stance in condemning the actions of these two countries.

He stated: "The Islamic Republic, while fully prepared to defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity and to safeguard the security and national interests of Iran against aggressors, welcomes diplomatic solutions that ensure the rights of the Iranian people."

Araghchi also mentioned that the regional conditions have changed since the Iran war, and in the new regional order, which will be accompanied by dialogue and cooperation among regional countries, there is no place for the presence and intervention of foreign forces.

He referred to what he called the repeated violations of commitments by the United States, stating that the Islamic Republic seeks to restore calm to the region and establish friendly relations with its neighbors, and in this context, has begun dialogue with regional countries.

وزارت امور خارجه چین با صدور بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد که وانگ ئی، وزیر امور خارجه این کشور، روز چهارشنبه در دیدار با عباس عراقچی در پکن گفت:

چین، ایران و ایالات متحده را تشویق می‌کند تا عقلانیت خود را حفظ کرده، خویشتن‌داری نشان دهند، به یادداشت تفاهم اسلام‌آباد بازگردند و «در گفتگوهای ماهوی درباره مسائل مورد علاقه طرفین مشارکت کنند.

براساس این گزارش، وانگ با بیان اینکه چین «نمی‌خواهد شاهد سرایت بیشتر تنش‌های منطقه‌ای به یمن و دریای سرخ باشد» افزود: «ما از همه طرف‌ها می‌خواهیم اقدامات موثری برای بازگشایی هرچه سریع‌تر تنگه هرمز انجام دهند.»
وانگ همچنین گفت که سیاست چین در قبال ایران همواره ثابت و پایدار بوده و چین مایل است ارتباطات و هماهنگی‌های خود را با تهران تقویت کند.

عباس عراقچی، وزیر خارجه جمهوری اسلامی، چهارشنبه، ۲۵ شهریور در سفر به پکن با وانگ یی، وزیر خارجه چین، دیدار کرد و بر گسترش روابط تهران و پکن در چارچوب مشارکت جامع راهبردی تاکید کرد.

عراقچی شرایط کنونی منطقه را ناشی از حملات نظامی آمریکا و اسرائیل به ایران دانست و از مواضع چین در محکوم کردن اقدامات این دو کشور قدردانی کرد.

او گفت: «جمهوری اسلامی ضمن آمادگی کامل برای دفاع مقتدرانه از حاکمیت ملی و تمامیت سرزمینی و صیانت از امنیت و منافع ملی ایران در مقابل متجاوزان، از راه‌حل‌های دیپلماتیک که حقوق ملت ایران را تامین کند، استقبال می‌کند.»

عراقچی همچنین گفت شرایط منطقه پس از جنگ ایران تغییر کرده است و در نظم جدید منطقه‌ای که با گفت‌وگو و همکاری کشورهای منطقه همراه خواهد بود، جایی برای حضور و دخالت نیروهای خارجی وجود ندارد.

او با اشاره به آنچه نقض مکرر تعهدات از سوی آمریکا خواند، گفت جمهوری اسلامی خواهان بازگشت آرامش به منطقه و روابط دوستانه با همسایگان است و در همین راستا گفت‌وگو با کشورهای منطقه را آغاز کرده است.
