Abdolfaazl Ghadiani, a political prisoner held in Evin Prison, rejected the Islamic Republic's narrative regarding the role of "foreign-affiliated terrorists" in the killing of protesters in December 2024, holding government forces responsible for their "massacre."
In a statement written on September 15 from Ward 7 of Evin Prison, Ghadiani questioned, in reference to the February 11 rally and recent government gatherings, why there has been no sign of these so-called "terrorists" in the government-organized events that were held securely, if, as the government claims, the shooters targeting protesters were indeed "terrorists."
He urged media and human rights organizations to question this contradiction in the Islamic Republic's narrative, stating: "There has been no terrorism, and the killers [...] are the same forces [...] of the government."
Ghadiani also held Ali Khamenei and his son Mojtaba Khamenei responsible for this "heinous crime," accusing government forces of shooting at protesters.

ابوالفضل قدیانی، زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان اوین، روایت جمهوری اسلامی درباره نقش «تروریستهای وابسته به بیگانگان» در کشتن معترضان دیماه ۱۴۰۴ را رد کرد و نیروهای حکومتی را مسئول «قتل عام» آنها دانست.
قدیانی در بیانیهای که روز ۲۴ شهریور از بند هفت زندان اوین نوشته، با اشاره به راهپیمایی ۲۲ بهمن و تجمعات حکومتی ماههای گذشته پرسیده است اگر عاملان تیراندازی به معترضان، آنگونه که حکومت میگوید، «تروریست» بودهاند، چرا در تجمعات حکومتی که در امنیت برگزار شدهاند، اثری از آنها نبوده است.
او از رسانهها و نهادهای حقوق بشری خواسته است درباره این تناقض در روایت جمهوری اسلامی پرسشگری کنند و نوشته است: «تروریستی در کار نبوده و نیست و قاتلان [...] همان نیروهای [...] حاکمیتاند.»
قدیانی همچنین در این بیانیه علی خامنهای و پسرش مجتبی خامنهای را مسئول این «جنایت سهمگین» دانسته و نیروهای حکومتی را به تیراندازی به معترضان متهم کرده است.
