The UK Maritime Trade Operations Center has received a report of a security incident in the Strait of Hormuz, 16 nautical miles northeast of Khasab, Oman. It has been reported that the crew is safe. As of the publication of this report, no environmental impact has been confirmed. Authorities are investigating.
Vessels are advised to navigate with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.
