Hakan Fidan, Turkey's Foreign Minister, stated that following the Houthi attacks, Saudi Arabia may have military needs in certain technical areas, and Turkey has no problem addressing these needs within the framework of the "Mecca Defense Coalition" alongside Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
In an interview with Turkey's NTV network on Saturday, September 28, he mentioned that the attacks on Saudi Arabia's territorial integrity and sovereignty are serious, and Turkey stands with Saudi Arabia within the agreement among the three countries.
He also noted that Saudi Arabia is reluctant to enter the war between the U.S. and the Islamic Republic, and dragging this country into the conflict is "unacceptable."
In response to a question about the assessment of some Israeli and Iranian sources suggesting that the "Mecca Coalition" exists only on paper, he said: "We laugh at these statements. The Mecca Coalition will become a very influential mechanism that changes the equations."
