Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced on Sunday, September 29, in an interview with Fox News that he is making decisions regarding Iran and that "very big things" will happen concerning Iran in the near future.
Trump stated that the current options on the table include "wiping out Iran," "letting it wither economically," or "reaching an agreement."
The U.S. President also said, "My question is when and whether I am going to blow up all of Iran," adding, "They better shape up."
Trump mentioned that he is also prepared to meet with Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly this week.
He continued by saying that some Iranian officials are hiding, and it is difficult to find individuals capable of reaching an agreement.

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهوری آمریکا، روز یکشنبه ۲۹ شهریور ماه در گفت‌وگو با شبکه خبری فاکس اعلام کرد که در حال تصمیم‌گیری درباره ایران است و «در آینده نزدیک اتفاقات بسیار بزرگی» درباره ایران رخ خواهد داد.
ترامپ گفت گزینه‌های فعلی روی میز شامل «محو کردن ایران»، «رها کردن آن برای فرسایش اقتصادی» یا «رسیدن به یک توافق» است.
رئیس‌جمهوری آمریکا همچنین گفت: «سؤال من این است که چه زمانی و آیا قرار است کل ایران را منفجر کنم» و افزود: «بهتر است آنها رفتار خود را اصلاح کنند.»
ترامپ گفت برای دیدار با مسعود پزشکیان در حاشیه نشست مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد در این هفته نیز آمادگی دارد.
او در ادامه گفت برخی مقام‌های ایرانی پنهان شده‌اند و نمی‌توان افرادی را پیدا کرد که قادر به دستیابی به توافق باشند.
