The public relations office of the Quds Headquarters of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported the death of Brigadier General Hossein Zarifi, the operational commander of the Sajjad Headquarters in Saravan County, during an armed confrontation in the area.
In a statement on October 1, 1405, the IRGC's public relations office wrote that Zarifi was killed during "the last operation of the fighters of this headquarters in the Saravan area."
At the same time, Halosh reported that Ahmad Herati Zeraati, the intelligence officer of the Sajjad operational headquarters in Saravan, was also killed during the clash between military forces and armed individuals in the Jihadabad area of Saravan.
According to Halosh's report, this confrontation occurred on Wednesday, October 1, and at least 13 other military and security personnel were seriously injured during it.

روابط‌عمومی قرارگاه قدس نیروی زمینی سپاه پاسداران، از کشته‌شدن سرتیپ حسین ظریفی، فرمانده عملیاتی قرارگاه سجاد شهرستان سراوان، در جریان یک درگیری مسلحانه در این منطقه خبر داد.
روابط عمومی سپاه، روز اول مهر ۱۴۰۵، در بیانیه خود نوشت ظریفی در جریان «آخرین عملیات رزمندگان این قرارگاه در منطقه سراوان» کشته شده است.
همزمان، حال‌وش گزارش داده است که احمد هراتی زراعتی، مسوول اطلاعات قرارگاه عملیاتی سجاد سراوان، نیز در جریان درگیری نیروهای نظامی با افراد مسلح در منطقه جهاد آباد سراوان کشته شده است.
بر اساس گزارش حال‌وش، این درگیری روز چهارشنبه یکم مهر رخ داده و دست‌کم ۱۳ نیروی نظامی و امنیتی دیگر نیز در جریان آن به‌شدت زخمی شده‌اند.
