The Wall Street Journal reported, citing "U.S. officials," that the President of the United States rejected the Islamic Republic's proposal for a seven-day ceasefire and told his aides that he expects to resume bombing after the midterm elections in November.
Donald Trump has repeatedly warned that he may take military action regarding the "Koh-e Kalang" nuclear facilities.
The Wall Street Journal states that the Islamic Republic's proposal included reopening the Strait of Hormuz and resuming nuclear negotiations in exchange for lifting the blockade on Iranian ports by the United States.
