"Mahbubeh Shabani," one of the detainees from the protests in December 2024 in Mashhad, has been sentenced to death; a 33-year-old woman who, according to published reports, helped transport injured protesters to medical facilities on her motorcycle during the protests.
Hengaw reported that the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Mashhad has sentenced Shabani to death on the charge of "operational actions to strengthen Israel, the United States, and agents affiliated with opposition groups." According to Hengaw, the verdict was communicated to her lawyer today.
