The "UK Maritime Trade Operations" (UKMTO) has received a report from a third source indicating that a tanker was struck by an unknown projectile while passing through the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in a fire.
It has been reported that the crew is safe. The extent of the damage and environmental impacts are not known at the time of this report.
