Following the shooting in front of the courthouse in Mahabad on Saturday, October 3rd, one person was killed and four others were injured.
Amirreza Rasouliyan, the police chief of Mahabad, announced that this shooting occurred in front of the courthouse in the city, resulting in one death and four injuries.
A source informed IranWire that the assailant, who lost his child a few years ago, targeted the family members of the person he holds responsible for his child's murder, who is currently imprisoned as a suspect. According to this source, the assailant was arrested at the scene by police officers.

در پی تیراندازی مقابل ساختمان دادگستری مهاباد در روز شنبه ۱۱ مهر، یک نفر کشته و چهار نفر زخمی شدند.
امیررضا رسولیان، فرمانده انتظامی مهاباد، اعلام کردە این تیراندازی مقابل در دادگستری این شهرستان رخ داده و در جریان آن یک نفر کشتە و چهار نفر زخمی شده‌اند.
یک منبع مطلع به ایران‌وایر گفت فرد مهاجم که چند سال پیش فرزندش را از دست داده اعضای خانواده فردی را که او مسئول قتل فرزندش می‌دانسته و در حال حاضر به عنوان متهم در زندان تحمل حبس می‌کند هدف تیراندازی قرار داده است.
به گفته این منبع، مهاجم پس از تیراندازی توسط مأموران انتظامی در محل بازداشت شده است.
