The Khorasan newspaper reported that Najmeh Amini, a 23-year-old girl, has been sentenced to death by the sixth branch of the Criminal Court of Khorasan Razavi on charges of "insulting the Prophet and disrespecting the Imams" in social media. Amini had previously announced in an audio file from Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad that a death sentence had been issued against her.

After the release of this audio file, the Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, stated that no definitive ruling has yet been issued for Najmeh Amini and that the court has not yet commented on her case.

روزنامه خراسان نوشت که نجمه امینی، دختر ۲۳ ساله، به اتهام «سب‌النبی و توهین به ائمه معصومین» در فضای مجازی، از سوی شعبه ششم دادگاه کیفری یک خراسان رضوی به اعدام محکوم شده است.
امینی پیش‌تر در یک فایل صوتی از زندان وکیل‌آباد مشهد از صدور حکم اعدام برای خود خبر داده بود.

پس از انتشار این فایل صوتی، خبرگزاری فارس، وابسته به سپاه پاسداران، اعلام کرد که هنوز هیچ حکم قطعی برای نجمه امینی صادر نشده و دیوان نیز درباره پرونده او اعلام نظر نکرده است.
