Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced during a speech in New York: "The issue of Iran will be resolved very soon, by any means necessary. Either they give us everything, or they will no longer exist at all. They know this very well themselves."
He also emphasized, referring to the deep economic crisis in Iran and the military dominance of the United States in the region: "Iran is caught in a huge pit, suffering from 300% inflation and has no money, to the point where its army and police forces are not receiving salaries. Iran will never acquire nuclear weapons, and preventing them from obtaining this weapon was the reason that compelled us to go there."
Trump further added: "Thanks to the United States military, we now have complete control over the Strait of Hormuz, and today the volume of oil passing through this strait is even greater than before the war."

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهوری آمریکا، طی سخنرانی در ایالت نیویورک اعلام کرد: «مسئله ایران به هر ترتیبی که شده، خیلی زود حل خواهد شد. یا آن‌ها همه‌چیز را به ما می‌دهند، یا دیگر اصلا وجود نخواهند داشت. خودشان هم این را به خوبی می‌دانند.»
او همچنین با اشاره به بحران اقتصادی عمیق در ایران و تسلط نظامی ایالات متحده بر منطقه تاکید کرد:
«ایران در ورطه بزرگی گرفتار شده، از تورم ۳۰۰ درصدی رنج می‌برد و هیچ پولی ندارد، تا جایی که ارتش و نیروهای پلیس آن حقوق دریافت نمی‌کنند. ایران هرگز به سلاح هسته‌ای دست نخواهد یافت و ممانعت از دستیابی آن‌ها به این سلاح دلیلی بود که ما را وادار به رفتن به آنجا کرد.»
ترامپ در ادامه افزود: «به لطف ارتش ایالات متحده اکنون کنترل کامل تنگه هرمز را در دست داریم و امروز حجم نفتی که از این تنگه عبور می‌کند حتی از دوران پیش از جنگ هم بیشتر است.»
