The UK Maritime Trade Operations organization has received a report of an incident in the Strait of Hormuz.
The captain of an oil tanker that was exiting the Strait of Hormuz reported that an unidentified projectile struck the left side of the ship, causing a fire.
According to reports, the crew of the ship is safe. At the time of this report, the extent of the damages and environmental consequences of the incident are not yet clear.
