The judiciary of the Islamic Republic announced the execution of a man accused of killing a law enforcement officer in Bandar Abbas. This law enforcement officer has been identified as Reza Ehtirami, a member of the rescue unit in Bandar Abbas.
The accused was previously referred to as "Daniel," and it was claimed that this murder occurred four years ago during a confrontation with fuel smugglers, as a result of being run over by a vehicle driven by the executed man.
On Saturday, the judiciary of the Islamic Republic also announced the execution of Jaber Khosravi, a prisoner sentenced to qisas (retribution) in the case of the murder of a law enforcement officer.
This case dates back to an incident at Velayat Hospital in Damghan on September 2, 2022; an incident in which, according to judicial officials, the officer's weapon was taken, and he lost his life after being hit by two bullets.

قوه قضائیه جمهوری اسلامی از اعدام یک مرد به اتهام قتل یک مامور نیروی انتظامی در بندرعباس خبر داد.
این مامور نیروی انتظامی رضا احترامی و مأمور یگان امداد شهرستان بندرعباس معرفی شده است.
متهم نیز پیش‌تر با نام «دانیال» معرفی شده و ادعا شده بود که این قتل چهار سال پیش هنگام درگیری با قاچاقچیان سوخت، بر اثر زیر گرفته شدن با خودرویی که مرد اعدام‌شده رانندگی آن را بر عهده داشت، روی داد.
شنبه نیز دستگاه قضایی جمهوری اسلامی از اعدام جابر خسروی، زندانی محکوم به قصاص در پرونده قتل یک مأمور انتظامی خبر داد.
این پرونده به حادثه‌ای در بیمارستان ولایت دامغان در ۱۱ شهریور ۱۴۰۱ بازمی‌گردد؛ حادثه‌ای که بنا بر ادعای مقام‌های قضایی، در جریان آن سلاح مأمور انتظامی گرفته شد و او بر اثر اصابت دو گلوله جان خود را از دست داد.
