The UK Maritime Trade Operations Center has reported that a tanker passing through the Strait of Hormuz was struck by an unknown projectile. According to these reports, the tanker was exiting the Strait of Hormuz and was hit "on the left side." The UK Maritime Trade Operations Center also stated that the impact damaged the vessel, but all crew members are in good health and no environmental consequences have been reported.

مرکز عملیات تجارت دریایی بریتانیا گزارش کرده است که یک نفتکش در حال عبور از تنگه هرمز مورد اصابت یک پرتابه ناشناس قرار گرفته است.
براساس این گزارش‌ها این نفتکش در حال خروج از تنگه هرمز بوده و «از ناحیه سمت چپ» مورد اصابت قرار گرفته است.
مرکز عملیات تجارت دریایی بریتانیا همچنین گفته این اصابت به کشتی آسیب رسانده، اما تمامی خدمه در سلامت کامل هستند و هیچ‌گونه پیامد زیست‌محیطی نیز گزارش نشده است.
