The spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition forces announced that the country's air defense successfully intercepted and destroyed incoming missiles from Yemen.

On Monday night, October 20, just minutes after an air threat warning was sent to residents' mobile phones, several massive explosions shook the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, likely resulting from the operation of these interceptor missiles in destroying the projectiles. The Saudi Civil Defense announced to citizens about 10 minutes after the alert was issued that the danger had been eliminated.
