The governor of Tehran says the number of students in the city of Tehran has decreased by seven thousand, while the number of students in the counties of this province has increased by seventeen thousand.
He attributed this change to the transfer of some students from the capital to the counties due to economic conditions and the return of some foreign nationals.
Alongside the rising inflation rate, especially in recent months, numerous reports have emerged about citizens moving from Tehran to the outskirts of the city and province.

استاندار تهران می‌گوید شمار دانش‌آموزان شهر تهران هفت هزار نفر کاهش یافته، در حالی که تعداد دانش‌آموزان شهرستان‌های این استان ۱۷ هزار نفر بیشتر شده است.
او این تغییر را به انتقال شماری از دانش‌آموزان از پایتخت به شهرستان‌ها به‌دلیل شرایط اقتصادی و بازگشت تعدادی از اتباع خارجی نسبت داد.
هم‌زمان با افزایش نرخ تورم به‌ویژه در ماه‌های اخیر گزارش‌های متعددی درباره کوچ شهروندان از تهران به حاشیه شهر و استان منتشر شده است.
