A video has been released on social media showing a fire and explosion at the Arak Aluminum plant.

This explosion and fire occurred in line 6 of the Iranian Aluminum Company (Iralco) and was due to the explosion of a boiler in this production line. Following the release of these images, the governor of Arak strongly denied the "news of the explosion and any security or sabotage issues," calling it "an incident related to a technical issue in the electrical system."

ویدئویی از آلومینیوم‌سازی اراک در شبکه‌های اجتماعی منتشر شده است که ⁠آتش‌سوزی و انفجار در این کارخانه را نشان می‌دهد.

این انفجار و ⁠آتش‌سوزی در خط ۶ شرکت آلومینیوم ایران (ایرالکو) رخ داده است و به دلیل انفجار دیگ درر این خط تولید بوده است.
در پی انتشار این تصاویر فرماندار اراک، «خبر انفجار و هرگونه موضوع امنیتی یا خرابکاری» را به شدت تکذیب کرد و آن را «بروز یک حادثه فنی در سیستم برق» خواند.
