Fox News reported, citing two American officials, that the aircraft carrier strike group Theodore Roosevelt and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit have been deployed to the Middle East.
The network added on Tuesday, October 20, without naming the officials, that with the arrival of these forces, the number of American aircraft carriers in the region will once again increase to three.
According to the report, about 10,000 sailors and Marines will also be added to the U.S. military forces in the Middle East.
Fox News first reported on October 1 about the U.S. decision to send a third aircraft carrier and another Marine unit to the Middle East. The network's latest report on Tuesday actually provides additional details about the deployment of the Roosevelt strike group and the 13th Marine Unit.
According to reports, these forces are expected to arrive in the region by the end of November.
These military movements come amid ongoing tensions between the United States and the Islamic Republic.

این شبکه سه‌شنبه ۲۸ مهر بدون اشاره به نام این مقام‌ها، افزود که با ورود این نیروها، شمار ناوهای هواپیمابر آمریکا در منطقه بار دیگر به سه فروند افزایش خواهد یافت.
بر اساس این گزارش، حدود ۱۰ هزار ملوان و تفنگدار دریایی نیز به نیروهای نظامی آمریکا در خاورمیانه اضافه خواهند شد.
