More than seven months after the death of Ali Khamenei, the former leader of the Islamic Republic, a member of the Assembly of Experts says that Khamenei's will has "still not been found" after the bombing.
Saeed Solh Mirzaei also claimed that the will was "under revision and does not have a similar version." According to this member of the Assembly of Experts, the file that was being revised, which was stored on a computer at the Leader's office, was destroyed along with the computer in the bombing.
This is while it is customary for the political wills of heads of state to be prepared in several identical copies and kept in various locations. Previously, no similar claims had been made during the past seven months. Shortly after Ali Khamenei's death on March 9, 2025, his son Mojtaba was introduced as the next leader of the Islamic Republic. So far, no video or audio of him has been released, and there are still doubts about his fate.
