Ali Alipour, the father of Babak Alipour, a political prisoner who was executed, was arrested at his home in Rasht on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, and transferred to the "Martyrs of the Unknown" detention center in the city. At the same time, agents seized several electronic devices belonging to him and his family members.
According to Haraana, citing a source close to the family, security forces arrived at his residence at eight in the morning to arrest Ali Alipour. So far, no information has been released regarding the reason for his arrest or any potential charges against him.

علی علی‌پور، پدر بابک علی‌پور، زندانی سیاسی اعدام‌شده، روز سه‌شنبه ۲۸ مهر ۱۴۰۵ در خانه‌اش در رشت بازداشت و به بازداشتگاه «شهدای گمنام» این شهر منتقل شد. مأموران هم‌زمان شماری از وسایل الکترونیکی او و اعضای خانواده‌اش را ضبط کردند.
