Donald Trump, the President of the United States, wrote in a message on the social media platform Truth Social on Thursday, October 21, that Iran is doing everything it can to raise oil prices before the U.S. midterm elections. He emphasized that Iran is even spreading fake news about attacks, mines, and other matters, while the volume of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz is now even higher than it was before the conflicts began.
In the continuation of his message, Trump referred to the suppression of protests in Iran, stating: "They continue to kill protesters and anyone else who stands in their way. This is truly an evil regime, and I just hope the people of America and the world understand how evil they are."
The President of the United States also announced that in less than seven months, 75,000 protesters have been killed, adding: "It is shocking that the world and the Democratic Party seem to not care about this issue." In this part of his message, Trump mockingly referred to the Democratic Party as "Dumocrat."
At the end of his message, Trump emphasized in capital letters: "Iran must never have nuclear weapons, and they will never have nuclear weapons."

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهوری آمریکا، روز پنجشنبه ۳۰ مهرماه، در پیامی در شبکه اجتماعی تروث سوشال نوشت که ایران هر کاری از دستش برمی‌آید انجام می‌دهد تا پیش از برگزاری انتخابات میان‌دوره‌ای ایالات متحده، قیمت نفت را افزایش دهد. او تاکید کرد که ایران حتی خبرهای جعلی درباره حملات، مین‌ها و موارد دیگر منتشر می‌کند، در حالی که اکنون حجم نفت عبوری از تنگه هرمز حتی از میزان آن پیش از آغاز درگیری‌ها نیز بیشتر شده است.
ترامپ در ادامه پیام خود با اشاره به سرکوب اعتراضات در ایران نوشت: «آن‌ها همچنان معترضان و هر فرد دیگری را که بر سر راهشان قرار بگیرد، می‌کشند. این واقعاً یک رژیم شرور است و من فقط امیدوارم مردم آمریکا و جهان درک کنند که آن‌ها تا چه اندازه شرور هستند.»
رئیس‌جمهوری آمریکا همچنین اعلام کرد که در کمتر از هفت ماه، ۷۵ هزار معترض کشته شده‌اند و افزود: «تکان‌دهنده است که به نظر می‌رسد جهان و حزب دموکرات اهمیتی به این موضوع نمی‌دهند.» ترامپ در این بخش از پیام خود، نام حزب دموکرات را به شکل تمسخرآمیز «Dumocrat» نوشته است.
ترامپ در پایان پیام خود با حروف بزرگ تاکید کرد: «ایران هرگز نباید سلاح هسته‌ای داشته باشد و آن‌ها هرگز سلاح هسته‌ای نخواهند داشت.»
