Reuters reported on Sunday, October 25, citing an informed source, that Qatari mediators have traveled to Tehran as part of efforts to reduce regional tensions and in coordination with the United States.

The official, who is aware of the developments, told Reuters that the presence of Qatari mediators in Tehran is part of coordinated efforts with the U.S. to de-escalate tensions in the region. The Hill reported, citing informed sources, that the U.S. military has prepared several options for renewed strikes against Iranian government targets following the midterm elections on November 3. The implementation of these plans depends on the approval of Donald Trump, and a final decision has not yet been announced.

According to the report published on Saturday, October 24, the U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, has developed plans for further attacks on targets in Iran. A source stated that these plans would be executable upon the president's authorization.

نشریه هیل به نقل از منابع آگاه گزارش داد ارتش آمریکا چند گزینه برای حمله دوباره به اهداف حکومت ایران پس از انتخابات میان‌دوره‌ای سوم نوامبر آماده کرده است. اجرای این طرح‌ها به تایید دونالد ترامپ بستگی دارد و هنوز تصمیم نهایی اعلام نشده است.
بر اساس این گزارش که شنبه ۲ آبان منتشر شد، فرماندهی مرکزی ارتش آمریکا، سنتکام، طرح‌هایی برای حملات بیشتر به اهدافی در ایران تهیه کرده است. یک منبع گفته این طرح‌ها در صورت صدور مجوز رییس‌جمهوری قابل اجرا خواهند بود.
