The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, in a retaliatory move, has declared the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force of Britain as a "terrorist organization" and the country's foreign intelligence service, "MI6," as a "hostile group." This decision was made in response to the inclusion of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the list of entities subject to the UK's State Threats Law.
On Sunday, October 31, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement that this decision was made based on a resolution from the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic and is effective immediately upon the release of the statement.
According to this statement, the British foreign intelligence service, MI6, will be subject to the law "increasing penalties for espionage and cooperation with the Zionist regime and hostile countries against national security and interests."

وزارت امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی در اقدامی تلافی‌جویانه، نیروی دریایی و نیروی هوایی سلطنتی بریتانیا را «سازمان تروریستی» و سرویس اطلاعات خارجی این کشور، «ام‌آی۶»، را «گروه متخاصم» اعلام کرد. این تصمیم در واکنش به قرار گرفتن سپاه پاسداران در فهرست نهادهای مشمول قانون تهدیدات دولتی بریتانیا اتخاذ شده است.
وزارت امور خارجه روز یکشنبه ۱۰آبان۱۴۰۵، در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد که این تصمیم با استناد به مصوبه شورای عالی امنیت ملی جمهوری اسلامی گرفته شده و از زمان انتشار بیانیه لازم‌الاجراست.
بر اساس این بیانیه، سرویس اطلاعات خارجی بریتانیا، ام‌آی۶، مشمول قانون «تشدید مجازات جاسوسی و همکاری با رژیم صهیونیستی و کشورهای متخاصم علیه امنیت و منافع ملی» خواهد شد.
