The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced that a report has been received from the Indian government regarding an attack on an Indian sailing vessel (dhow). This incident occurred on November 1, 2026, at 11:05 UTC as the vessel was exiting the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the report, the Omani Navy has successfully rescued the crew of the vessel, but the status of the ship itself remains unknown. The UK Maritime Trade Operations has advised other vessels to pass through the area with utmost caution and to report any suspicious activity while awaiting the results of investigations by the responsible authorities.

مرکز عملیات تجارت دریایی بریتانیا (UKMTO) اعلام کرد که گزارشی از سوی دولت هند مبنی بر وقوع حمله به یک فروند شناور بادبانی (لنج) متعلق به هند دریافت کرده است. این حادثه در تاریخ ۱۱ آبان ۱۴۰۵ (۲ نوامبر ۲۰۲۶) در ساعت ۱۱:۰۵ به وقت هماهنگ جهانی (UTC) و در زمان خروج این شناور از تنگه هرمز رخ داده است.
بر اساس این گزارش، نیروی دریایی عمان موفق شده است خدمه نجات‌یافته این شناور را نجات دهد، اما وضعیت خود کشتی همچنان نامعلوم است. مرکز عملیات تجارت دریایی بریتانیا به سایر شناورها توصیه کرده است که با احتیاط کامل از منطقه عبور کرده و ضمن گزارش هرگونه فعالیت مشکوک، منتظر نتایج بررسی‌های مقامات مسئول باشند.
